Our client is a well-established international freight forwarder who are now looking for a European Road Freight Import/ Export Freight Coordinator to join their growing branch in West Bromwich in the European freight division For over 150 years my client has been handling export and import shipping requirements throughout Europe and Worldwide. Their reputation is based on their caring, customer focused service and competitive pricing. Working alongside and supporting the Operations Supervisor your role will be to work in the EU Import – Export Operations in the Bradford office in Yorkshire Responsibilities include : * Handling Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage * Road freight import / export process from start to finish. * Liaising with hauliers, negotiating rates, preparing quotations. * Handling documentation including commercial invoices, DGN * Must have knowledge for trade lanes: Covering all of Europe. * Handling collections and distribution within the UK In order to apply you must have.. * Freight forwarding experience gained in trailer/road/TIR freight * The ability to build strong relationships with clients. * Excellent communication skills * A good standard of educations * A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic nature. * The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a thriving team is essential.
