We now have an exciting opportunity for an Air Freight Export Manager working for a global freight forwarder based out of there facility in Trafford Park Our client is looking for an Air Freight Manager to manage a well-established air export team of 10 people Managing a team of 10 Air Freight Exporters your role will be to lead and support your team whilst getting hands on when needed and in peak periods You and your team will complete the full air freight export cycle, taking bookings, quotations, liasing with airlines to get best rates, arranging collections, completing export clearances. As well as completing all documentation and all administration and invoicing. You will get involved with the recruitment, training, motivation, development and management of all air freight export personnel to achieve total customer focus. Ensuring the optimal use of resources, both internal and external maximising cost effectiveness and maintaining service levels while continually seeking alternative methods to improve service levels.
