Our Kitchen Team plays an essential part in our guest’s journey, keeping the back‑of‑house service smooth, the equipment pristine, and working hard behind the scenes to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment where our vendors and culinary teams can thrive. You will report directly to the Kitchen/Venue Managers on duty. We work in a fast‑paced environment, and we cover a lot of ground! You must work with a sense of urgency, take massive pride in your work, and be a dedicated team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed to help the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations run flawlessly. You MUST have weekend availability to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleanliness & Sanitation: Ensuring all pots, pans, utensils, and crockery are washed swiftly and kept stocked for traders and kitchen staff.
- Waste Management: Changing bins frequently, ensuring rubbish is sorted correctly, and taking it out to the designated external bin stores.
- Deep Cleaning: Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning schedules for the kitchen areas, floors, walls, and deep‑cleaning catering equipment.
- Venue Set‑Up & Support: Assisting the team at the start of the shift to set up the back‑of‑house areas or closing the venue down securely at the end of the evening.
- Stock & Deliveries: Assisting with the acceptance of food and beverage deliveries, ensuring stock is organized and stored correctly.
- Health & Safety: Following strict licensing, Health & Safety (H&S), and COSHH regulations to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
- One Team Ethos: Working collaboratively with the floor, bar, and vendor teams, assisting with clearing or light cleaning duties in shared staff areas when required.
What You’ll Need
