We are Looking for Bartenders
You will need to be available for work Thursday – Sunday. Weekend availability is required. Our Bar Team plays an essential part in our guests’ journey, keeping the service smooth, the drinks flowing and creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where our guests can enjoy the Freight Island experience. You will report to the Bar Supervisors & Bar Managers on duty and be allocated stations of the bar to create a consistent and outstanding bar service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver drinks to a high spec and look
- Set up and maintain bar stations to an excellent standard
- Work with the whole team to deliver the day‑to‑day running of the bar
- Create a fun, upbeat and welcoming atmosphere
- Ensure a high quality of service
- Follow H&S and any security specifics
- Enforce Challenge 25 and licensing rules
- Ensure daily and weekly cleaning schedules are complete
- Support the floor staff with clearing when the bars are quiet
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of 2 years’ bartending experience
- Experience in a similar unique venue or nightclubs would be an advantage
- Cocktail experience is desirable but not essential
- A can‑do attitude and calm head when it gets busy
- An infectious smile and outgoing personality to create a great buzz and customer experience
- Phenomenal communication skills
- Able to deliver high standards consistently
- Fluent English (spoken and comprehension)
