About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver to join our transport team based in Rushden, NN10. This role involves multi-drop deliveries across a variety of locations including Swindon, Portsmouth, Southampton, Kent and Yorkshire, with 1–2 nights out per week. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who is comfortable with multi-drop work and manual handling, and who takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing 3–13 deliveries per day across assigned routes
  • Operating a Class 2 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
  • Manual offloading of product using an electric pump truck
  • Some deliveries will be offloaded by depot staff
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Maintaining delivery paperwork and PODs
  • Adhering to driver hours, WTD and road transport legislation
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery points
  • Nights out required 1–2 per week depending on route

Driver Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 driving experience within the UK
  • Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement)
  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 3 penalty points
  • No major endorsements (DD, DR, IN etc.)
  • Comfortable with manual handling duties
  • Strong reliability and time management skills
