Freeway Recruitment are looking to register a Class 1 Driver who has Tipper experience to work for our client based in Wakefield. Our customer has an excellent reputation and provides good quality tipper work.
Job type: Temporary Assignment
Days/shifts: Mon to Fri
Start date: Immediate based on registration
Job Role / Description: Successful candidate will be required to drive a Class 1 tipper wagon for our client. Your usual day will see you moving on average 4–7 loads per day. This is steady tipper work and we are looking for an experienced driver who has worked on tipper wagons before. Ideal candidate will have experience of shifting, moving and tipping clay. Drivers need to be used to and familiar with driving a manual gearbox (split gearbox) as well as automatic. Driver will be required for at least 4 weeks to start with.
Qualifications / training / experience:
- Valid Class 1 driving licence
- Valid Digital tachograph card
- Valid Driver CPC card
- Have no more than 9 current points on licence (no DR/DD/IN driving offences accepted)
Pay: We accept Pate workers as well as Ltd and Umbrella. Rates advertised are for Paye (not including holiday pay).
- Paye – £11.50 all hours
- Ltd/Umbrella/Contract For Services – £13.00 all hours
