The Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for temporary and ongoing contracts across the Trafford area.
This role involves completing palletised deliveries and collections for a range of well-established customers.
Drivers can expect regular day shifts with an average start time of 7:00am.
Duties Include
- Completing palletised deliveries and collections.
- Loading and unloading using pallet trucks where required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
- Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year.
- At least 6 months' experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- No DR, DD, CD, IN endorsements or any other convictions that have resulted in a driving ban or disqualification.
- A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work.
