Class 1 Night Trunk Driver Location: Rochdale, Middleton & Heywood Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing Shift: Nights Start Times: Between 4:00pm and 8:00pm Pay * £17.00 per hour (PAYE) * Up to £19.05 per hour with holiday pay included in the hourly rate The Role We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing contracts based across Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood. Duties include: * Night trunking to the Midlands and other locations across the North of England. * Driving double-deck curtain-sided trailers. * Opening and closing curtains on double-deck trailers where required. * Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are carried out safely and professionally. * Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations. Requirements To be considered for this role you must have: * A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year. * At least 1 year's Class 1 driving experience. * A valid Driver CPC qualification. * A valid Digital Tachograph Card. * No more than 6 penalty points on your licence. * No endorsements that have resulted in a driving ban or disqualification. * A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
