Freeway Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) Drivers to work across a range of contracts in the SOUTH MANCHESTER area. Position Class 1 Driver (CE) Duties * Next day general haulage * Pallet deliveries * Trailer swaps * Bulk deliveries * Multi-drop deliveries * Operating curtain-sided trailers * Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance Pay Rate * £16.00 to 17.00 per hour PAYE * Holiday pay accrued in addition to hourly rate Start Times * Typically between 03:00 and 07:00 Requirements * Full UK Class 1 (CE) Licence held for a minimum of 6–12 months * No more than 6 penalty points * No DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements * Valid Driver CPC Card * Valid Digital Tachograph Card * Minimum 6–12 months' Class 1 driving experience required * Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations What We're Looking For * Reliable and professional drivers * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Commitment to delivering excellent service * Flexible approach to daily workloads If you are a qualified Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing work in the Sharston , Wythenshawe , Manchester airport area, we'd love to hear from you.
