The predicted salary is between 16 - 16 £ per hour.

Freeway are looking for experienced and reliable HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers who want night out and tramping work to work for our client located in Leeds. Class 1 drivers will be required to deliver general haulage palletised goods to a national client base. Drivers work on average 55-60 hours a week and earn up to and over £1000 per week including nights out paid at £26.00 p/n.

MUST have 2 years HGV C+E experience due to client insurance restrictions. The work is generally ongoing and long term, week in week out once a driver has settled into the client and understands the remit of the role including all Health & Safety aspects.

Requirements:

  • Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practices and procedures at all times
  • Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
  • Hold a flexible can-do attitude to your work
  • Good command of English both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keep vehicle kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
  • Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
  • Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our client

Qualifications / training / experience:

  • You must be able to provide the following:
  • Valid Class 1 driving licence
  • Valid Digital tachograph card
  • Valid Driver CPC card
  • Have no more than 6 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
  • 2 work checkable work references
  • 2 years Class 1 experience required due to insurance restrictions

Pay: £16.00ph (Holidays accrued) £17.93ph (Holidays Paid out).
