FREEWAY are hiring on behalf of our client for the following FULL TIME role. Our client is a growing Leeds based transport company who provide haulage services to their customer base. They are hiring experienced Drivers for full time employment from Day 1 - No Temp to Perm period via agency.
Job type: Full Time
Shifts - Days Monday to Friday (Occasional Sunday run out)
Start times: Vary from 0300hrs onwards (Can change on a day to day basis)
Role/Duties:
- Suitable for dedicated Class 1 Drivers who want full time work with plenty of hours on a consistent basis earning over £1000 per week not including Night Out.
- 2 deliveries per day on average.
- 55 hours guaranteed to driver per week.
- Driver will likely complete 60 hours on average.
- Work involves mixture of general haulage or refrigerated work.
- 4 nights out per week, SNAP parking or alternative provided.
- Drivers are required to use electronic device/app to log PODs, hours, mileage etc.
Requirements:
- Competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all times.
- Reliable and hold excellent time keeping.
- Hold a flexible can do attitude to your work.
- Good command of English both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network.
- Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic.
- Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client.
If successful, you will be required to attend an interview with our client before being offered a full time role.
Pay £17.00ph (Plus Holiday Pay Accrual - PAYE).
Candidates must be able to provide 2 x work references to Freeway.
