2026 is a big year for us. Last year, we announced a game changing deal to become part of the IG Group. We’ll continue to operate as an independent business while gaining access to the resources and support of an established leader in the space. This year, we’re accelerating our roadmap and taking our products to the next level. We’re building new features like mutual funds, bonds, and family investment tools. We’re also exploring how we can leverage AI to deliver an even better experience for our customers.

You will be part of a small but experienced and focused team which supports the growth of Freetrade whilst maintaining a strong observance of CASS rules across the entire business.

You will:

  • Complete daily CASS 7 (Client Money) and CASS 6 (Custody) reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to prevent rule breaches.
  • Prepare monthly CMAR reports for the business.
  • Contribute to new business development and make sure new products and services are designed with CASS in mind.
  • Identify internal process improvements, including use of AI, and work with our 3rd party suppliers to deliver our change requirements.
  • Be part of control reviews, support annual external audits, contribute to 3rd party assessments and preparing internal governance MI.

You are:

  • Highly numerate with a high attention to detail.
  • Able to multi-task, possess good time management and are used to working to specific deadlines.
  • Someone with personal integrity, stamina and a high level of energy.
  • Interested in personal and professional development.
  • Curious, and interested in our business.
  • Someone who takes ownership and has a positive mindset with a can-do attitude.
  • A good communicator with great collaboration skills.
  • Analytical, structured and have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand new issues quickly.

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Banking or Financial services, running daily reconciliations.
  • A working knowledge of the UK CASS (6, 7, 8, 9 & 10) from the FCA Client Asset Sourcebook.
  • Accounting experience, MI reporting and Dashboard building experience (desirable but not essential).
