We're changing that. We're building our team and looking for people who are excited to reshape how our customers invest and grow their wealth. If you're driven by solving complex problems and building innovative products, you'll fit right in.
2026 is a big year for us. Last year, we announced a game-changing deal to become part of the IG Group. We'll continue to operate as an independent business while gaining access to the resources and support of an established leader in the space. This year, we're accelerating our roadmap and taking our products to the next level. We're building new features like mutual funds, bonds, and family investment tools. We're also exploring how we can leverage AI to deliver an even better experience for our customers.
Join our team at Freetrade as a Junior Web Designer and help us supercharge our marketing efforts, unlocking opportunities to drive web growth and reach new audiences. If you're passionate about delivering results, optimising performance, and making a real impact, we'd love to meet you!
About the Role
As a Junior Web Designer, you'll play a key part in building and evolving our marketing website using Webflow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who's ready to take real ownership, enjoy clear responsibility, and see their work make a tangible difference to the business. You'll collaborate closely with a Senior Web Designer, but you'll lead your own projects from start to finish—including design, build, QA, and launch. You'll be empowered to deliver high-quality solutions that support our marketing, growth, and brand goals.
Responsibilities
- Own & Deliver Web Work: Design, build, and launch marketing pages, landing pages, and content updates using Webflow. Take projects from brief to live—building, testing, fixing, and publishing. Keep the site accurate, scalable, and up to date through effective CMS management.
- Build with Quality & Purpose: Use established components, styles, and patterns to create consistent, on-brand pages. Maintain a keen eye for detail across layouts, spacing, responsiveness, and content accuracy.
- Support Performance, SEO & Accessibility: Apply on-page and technical SEO best practices (meta titles, semantic HTML, alt text, etc.) to all web builds. Ensure all pages are accessible, responsive, and performant by default. Flag opportunities for improvement or address issues as you find them.
- Work Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, design, and content teams to launch campaign pages and product updates. Communicate progress transparently, manage your tasks, and identify risks or blockers early. Understand how your web work drives growth, engagement, and conversion across the business.
What You'll Need
- Hands-on experience building pages or sites in Webflow.
- Comfortable working with Webflow CMS and responsive layouts.
- Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- A proactive, ownership-driven attitude—see work through to completion.
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing websites or growth-focused web pages.
- Awareness of SEO, analytics, or accessibility basics.
- Webflow certification or relevant coursework.
Experience
1–2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent portfolio work. A portfolio demonstrating Webflow projects you've owned or contributed to.
What Success Looks Like
- You independently own and deliver web projects with minimal oversight.
- Pages go live on schedule and meet quality, SEO, and responsiveness benchmarks.
- You anticipate issues or opportunities, proactively solving—beyond task execution.
- You earn trust as a reliable contributor.
Reporting & Growth
You'll receive ongoing support and mentoring from a Senior Web Designer. As you develop, you'll take charge of larger and more complex projects. Clear progression paths are available as you show growing impact, autonomy, and technical excellence.
