Our Bristol Real‑Estate team covers property finance, commercial and residential development, fund management and regeneration projects, and works closely with a strong sector‑focused client base, including transport and logistics, clean energy, telecoms, waste and sustainability.
Adam Watson, Duncan Tringham and Michael Bray are well‑regarded Partners in the Bristol office. Adam serves as Managing Partner with extensive experience in high‑value commercial real‑estate. Duncan is recognised as a leading partner in the Legal 500 (2025) and Chambers & Partners (2025). Michael specialises in transport and logistics, development and regeneration projects, working closely with private and public bodies.
About The Role
The team is in expansion mode and is looking for an enthusiastic lawyer with circa 1 year of PQE+ gained within a strong commercial practice. The role can be adapted to the level of experience of the chosen candidate.
Skills and Qualifications
- Directly relevant previous experience with the correct level of post‑qualified experience (PQE) for the role.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the industry.
- Proven track record of competent financial management, meeting client expectations and sound case‑management skills.
- Self‑motivated, friendly individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Consistently demonstrates and embodies the firm’s values.
- Good IT skills and confidence using case‑management systems, electronic time recording and general Microsoft packages.
Key Expectations
- Work to a consistently high level and provide exemplary client service and care.
- Competent financial management and commercial awareness, accurate time recording, billing, achievement of firm‑delivered targets and management of WIP.
- Actively contribute to business‑development opportunities to retain existing clients and expand business.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical expertise at all times.
- Be competent in accordance with SRA competence standards.
