We are looking for motivated Construction lawyers to join our busy team, with its strong gearing towards clean energy & renewables.

We are looking for motivated Construction lawyers to join our busy team, with its strong gearing towards clean energy & renewables.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of construction/commercial and/or projects experience, with experience in renewables or with a strong interest in transitioning into clean energy workstreams.
This role will involve working directly with Bristol-based Energy Construction Partner Suriya Edwards, Leeds-based Clean Energy Partner Deborah Harvey and London-based National Head of Clean Energy, Clare King.
The trio speak to different aspects of the clean energy market, which make them a robust team, unique in the respect of the collaborative space that they have established to drive forward growth in this space.
Alongside a dedicated PSL supporting the team, we have a client-base that is impressive. We work with world-renowned battery manufacturers/integrators on complex transactions that span both UK and Europe.

You will be supported by a wider sector team of approximately 90 lawyers in other practice areas across our 13 offices including, real estate, corporate, finance, environment, planning and dispute resolution.
You will have an opportunity to work on a wide spectrum of clean energy projects.
Your work will include leading or supporting on transactions which will include, as you will know, drafting documents (bespoke, FIDIC/MF/1 forms) and negotiating relevant forms.
The team deal with (for e.g.):
- BESS/Solar Supply Agreements and EPC contracts
- O&Ms & LTSAs
- Component Warranties
- Clean energy project developments, acquisitions and disposals
Familiarity with technologies including BESS, solar PV, wind, hydro, energy-from waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging infrastructure and/or district heating would also be an advantage.
