Shape the Future of Post Completion at Freeths
We're looking for an experienced Post Completion professional to lead and develop our newly created Post Completion Team within the Built & Natural Environment Division. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and shape a specialist function that will play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality Real Estate support services across the business. You'll combine people leadership, process improvement and operational excellence to create a scalable service that supports both lawyers and clients.
What You'll Do
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing Post Completion Team.
- Manage post‑completion services across a broad range of Real Estate matters.
- Establish best‑practice processes, service standards and quality controls.
- Work closely with Partners, legal teams and business support colleagues.
- Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and the use of technology.
About You
- Significant experience of Real Estate post‑completion processes within a law firm.
- Strong understanding of HM Land Registry and Registers, property registration requirements and associated post‑completion activities.
- Knowledge of SDLT, Land and Buildings Transaction Tax, Land Transaction Tax and related post‑completion compliance requirements.
- Experience managing high‑volume, deadline‑driven transactional workloads.
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams in a legal support environment – is desirable, though full training will be provided.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with Partners and legal teams.
Previous team leadership experience is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from established Team Leaders / Senior Paralegals as well as ambitious senior post‑completion professionals ready to step into their first management role.
