About the Team

Freeths' national and award‑winning Dispute Resolution team comprises over 100 lawyers across 13 national offices. The team was awarded UK Litigation Team of the Year by The Lawyer Awards 2020 and by the British Legal Awards 2020 for a major High Court group action against the Post Office. The Milton Keynes team is headed by Simon Hobbs and enjoys a formidable reputation locally and nationally.

About the Role

This role is for a circa 3+ PQE Property Litigation lawyer to join the team and advance their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • All aspects of commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Development disputes
  • Disputes relating to land, including easements, restrictive covenants and rights to light

Your Skills and Qualifications

The team has a number of dedicated Property litigators, so detailed knowledge of Property litigation is not essential. Candidates should be ambitious, hardworking, self‑motivated, demonstrate excellent legal capability with strong attention to detail, and be adaptable, organised, enthusiastic and eager to learn. Minimum requirements include at least 3 years’ litigation experience and an interest in business development.
