About the Freeths Employment Team
Freeths is a top 50 UK law firm and its national Employment Team, led by Rena Magdani, comprises over 45 employment specialists across the country. Recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, the team is further supported by specialist pensions and immigration lawyers. The team provides a specialist employment law and HR advisory service to a range of companies from PLCs to SMEs. This includes advice on disciplinary and grievance matters, conduct of employment tribunal proceedings, unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, restructures and strategic advice to senior management teams and boards. We also advise senior executives and professionals in all aspects of the employment relationship. We have established a reputation for providing timely responses and pragmatic, cost-effective solutions.
The London Employment team is led by Kevin Poulter. In addition to the above, Kevin and the London team have specialist experience of advising on business acquisitions and disposals and work closely with the firm's corporate department to guide businesses, individual shareholders and investors through TUPE and the employment aspects of transactions. This includes providing due diligence support and commercial analysis to clients on business transactions, investments and opportunities, drafting and negotiating Service Agreements and Settlement Agreements for both corporate clients and senior individuals. The team works across all sectors, with particular expertise in financial services, hospitality, transport and professional services.

The role
Due to growth in our expanding London office, we are seeking a Senior Associate or Managing Associate, ideally with 5 years+ PQE, to join our friendly and dynamic team in London. The nature of the work is fast-paced, and our clients' interests are paramount so you must possess and demonstrate an enthusiasm, energy and passion for employment law, have exceptionally strong communication skills and work well in a team. The team takes a holistic approach to their work, offering a corporate level of service with a personal touch.
