The Team Freeths Top Tier and Top Ranked Real Estate Litigation team act for a wide range of commercial businesses, institutions, landed estates and individuals on all Real Estate and property disputes. Comprising of over 20 dedicated Real Estate litigation lawyers across our 13 offices, the team in Bristol is led by Daniel Cuthbert who is highly ranked in Chambers and Partners 2025 and one of the leading lawyers in the UK when dealing with cases involving the Electronic Communications Code. In addition, Daniel has a strong retail, development and public sector practice.
Working closely with Daniel is David Shakesby and David Quinn, both of whom are property disputes experts with specialisms across leasehold enfranchisement, development disputes and complex contractual and other disputes relating to land. Daniel’s team regularly advises public bodies, corporate occupiers, investors/landlords and developers in property issues including telecoms, energy networks, disputed break clause cases, rights of light, breach of covenant claims, misrepresentation/breach of contract, frustration and option disputes, as well as all types of commercial landlord and tenant issues.
The Role You will ideally be based in our Bristol office and will have at least 1PQE. You will be working alongside the senior lawyers in the team on a variety of interesting matters. Experience of working within the Telecommunications sector would be very welcome, as would knowledge of the Electronic Communications Code. This is an exciting role, which has arisen due to significant growth and client demand offering the chance to work at a Top 50 law firm, where you will benefit from very high-quality real estate litigation work from the outset. In addition, you will receive close support along with a market leading remuneration package.
