We’re the highest-rated web design agency in Hampshire, and we’re growing. We need a sharp, driven SEO Specialist to join the team and help our clients climb the rankings and stay there. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to run the same playbook on repeat. Our clients span private medical, marine, hospitality, tech and more. You’ll need to think, adapt and deliver.
Responsibilities
- You’ll own SEO across a portfolio of client websites - researching, optimising and reporting with purpose.
- Day to day, that means keyword research and on-page optimisation, technical audits and fixes, content strategy and creation, link building, local SEO, and Google Business management.
- You’ll work closely with our designers and developers to make sure SEO is baked in from the start, not bolted on at the end.
- You’ll also contribute to our GEO offering - helping clients show up in AI-driven search results, not just traditional ones.
- We don’t hide behind 40-page reports that nobody reads. We report on what actually matters: visibility, rankings and domain authority. Clients stay because the work works.
Qualifications
- You know your way around Google Search Console, Analytics and the usual SEO toolkit.
- You understand that SEO is a long game and you’re comfortable making that case to clients.
- You write well, think analytically, and don’t need hand-holding to manage your own workload.
- Honest, organised, and results-focused. That’s the type of person who thrives here.
Why Freestyle
- In-house team. No freelancers, no handoffs, no inconsistency.
- You’ll work alongside specialists in design, development, strategy and SEO - people who take their work seriously and enjoy doing it.
- We look after our team.
What we’re offering
- £35-40k full-time salary, higher available for significant / senior experience.
- Generous CPD budget for conferences and training.
- A relaxed, respectful working environment.
