We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a leading manufacturing organisation on a 6-month full-time contract. My client is open to candidates from a Production or Design Engineering background, particularly those with VPM and/or CATIA experience. This is a senior, expert-level Manufacturing Engineering role and may sit within any production area of the business. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, working independently under appropriate stamp and signatory / delegated authority, or acting as technical owner for specific products or processes. You will be responsible for delivering technical support across manufacturing, including work instructions, technical documentation, tooling, and driving process improvement initiatives to support the production of world-class products.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and defining assembly sequences and manufacturing processes to meet build standards, product quality, budgeted hours, and delivery schedules (QCD), in line with Programme Management requirements.
- Owning and improving manufacturing processes, setting and maintaining high technical and quality standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and production performance.
