Are you a hands-on, results-driven WarehouseTraining Managerwith a background in fast-paced D2C operations?

As the WarehouseTraining Manager, your day will be focused on actively supporting the operational floor. Working closely with team leaders, operatives, and Training Ambassadors to ensure training is aligned with daily business needs. Youll be delivering onboarding sessions for new starters, coaching staff on key fulfilment processes such as picking, packing, returns handling, stock accuracy, and dispatch, while ensuring everyone is fully confident using handheld scanners and the proprietary WMS.

Youll also conduct regular floor walks, gather feedback on training effectiveness, and make real-time adjustments to improve both the training experience and operational output.

Supported by the Training Analyst, you\’ll use data-driven insights to identify skills gaps, performance trends, and opportunities for targeted interventions. Together, you\’ll develop and refine training content, process guides, and improvement plans to help hit key KPIs. The Training Analyst will support you by consolidating performance metrics and feedback data, allowing you to shape proactive training strategies that directly support site-level performance goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideally you will be an experienced Training manager in a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operational environment. Available to support the team immediately and ideally have you RTITB licence to support MHE training.

WarehouseTraining Manager: Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training plans across warehouse operations, from onboarding to process improvement
  • Lead and coordinate a team of Training Ambassadors to support learning across all fulfilment functions
  • Maintain and enhance process guides across key activities including Pick/Pack, Stock, Dispatch, Returns, and WMS (handheld scanning, voice picking)
  • Oversee training in Manual Handling, MHE (low-level order pickers, pallet trucks RTITB licence desirable), and health & safety procedures including COSHH, Fire Safety, Accident Reporting, and PPE usage
  • Support operational excellence by embedding training around KPIs, error reduction, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate and deliver compliance-related training including yearly refreshers, First Aid, and Fire Marshal certification
  • Partner with leadership to introduce soft-skills and potential leadership development programmes
