A salary of £55,000 + Excellent PRP. I am working with a forward-thinking and people-focused care provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Care Home Manager for a high-quality residential care home in Formby.
The service is a spacious, well-presented care home located in a quiet residential area of Formby, surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. It offers a calm and welcoming environment where dignity, comfort and wellbeing are central to daily life, with good transport links to Liverpool and across Merseyside.
As Care Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the overall performance of the home, including care quality, CQC compliance, occupancy and commercial performance. You will be CQC registered, confident working within regulation, and focused on creating a safe, well-led service where residents and staff feel supported. You will be fully supported by a dedicated Operations Manager and an established on-site leadership and support team, including a Deputy Manager, nursing team, Administrator and housekeeping staff. This role is suited to a manager who wants to innovate, inspire and lead a care home to excellence.
- Provide strong leadership to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy
- Ensure the home meets all CQC and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of care
- Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring targets are met
- Develop and deliver a marketing strategy to maintain healthy occupancy levels
- Build positive and effective relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders
About You:
- Previous experience managing a residential care home
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, with experience working towards Outstanding ratings
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven commercial and marketing experience within the private care sector
- A genuine passion for person-centred care and service development
