Requirements for the role
- Gold JIB Installation/Approved Electrician card
- UK driving licence
- Vast experience with commercial and light industrial projects
- Experience working alongside other electricians, apprentices, supervisors and subcontractors
- Full knowledge of 1st, 2nd and final fix installation
- IPAF 3A/3B, PASMA and 2391 Inspection and Testing are beneficial but not essential
- Some understanding of Inspection and Testing is beneficial; training will be provided if desired
- Ability to work to deadlines on various sized jobs without compromising on HSE or client needs
Duties include
- Working on various commercial and industrial sites across the local area
- 1st, 2nd and final fixing across sites, with some PPM and remedial work sometimes required
- Ability to read drawings and schematics to a high standard
- Working alongside other members of the team and reporting to supervisors/managers with progress reports, potential problems or any other concerns
- Ability to work independently when required
- Working with the client and other end users to achieve project delivery on-time and to high standards
- Optional training may become available to progress into Inspection and Testing duties, improving fault-finding and problem-solving skills
