Overview
Be among the first 25 applicants. Meridian are working with a reputable M&E company that are growing their team of permanent Approved Electricians after back-to-back successful years. This will provide a variety of work around the North-west. They specialise in commercial projects, such as offices, warehouses, schools, renewable energy systems, as well as education and university buildings.
In addition to the standard working week, there will be opportunities to work overtime and weekends if you desire, which will greatly improve your take home pay. Benefits
- Starting salary of c.Β£43k (in line with JIB, based on a 40-hour week) with potential for additional earnings

Requirements for this role
- Relevant electrical experience in commercial environments
- Gold JIB Approved Electrician Card
- BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- IPAF preferred but not essential
- DBS preferred but not essential
- Driving Licence (travel involved in this role)
Duties will include
- Perform electrical installations, including 1st, 2nd, and final fix
- Inspect and test electrical equipment on site
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults
- Work independently on electrical installation as well as contribute to team environments
- Work alongside subcontractors and other trades on commercial projects
- Be customer-facing on various contracts; effective communication and customer-service skills are essential
