Are you an experienced plumbing and gas professional looking to make a real difference? We are recruiting an Assessor/Trainer to join a busy, high-performing Construction Department in the Cambridgeshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to share your industry expertise and help shape the next generation of skilled professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality training, coaching, and support to apprentices
- Conduct workplace assessments and progress reviews
- Monitor and accurately track apprentice progress
- Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Build strong professional relationships with employers across the region
- Contribute to business development and employer engagement activities
- Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and Health & Safety requirements
- Maintain clear and comprehensive records and documentation
This role offers agile working, blending on-site delivery, workplace visits, and remote administrative work from home.
What We Are Looking For
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Plumbing
- Strong, relevant industry experience
- Assessor and/or IQA qualifications (desirable)
- Teaching or assessing experience (desirable)
- Solid understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence with digital systems and tools
- Flexible, professional, and collaborative approach
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle, or ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties
