Thompson & Co. Solicitors Ltd offers expertise in immigration, asylum, and human rights law. We are seeking to recruit paralegals and IAAS accredited Senior or Advanced Caseworkers/Lawyers due to high demand for our services. Our offices are located in Tooting, Morden, Southall, and Central London.
We hold legal aid contracts in Immigration/Asylum and Public Law categories, with Detained Duty Advice (DDA) contracts at Harmondsworth, Colnbrook, Yarlswood, Brook House, and Tinsley House Immigration Removal Centres. The firm also holds Detained Asylum Casework (DAC) contracts at Harmondsworth, Colnbrook, and Yarlswood. Our work covers all asylum and human rights cases, including applications for minors, victims of trafficking, detention removal, unlawful detention claims, and judicial reviews. We also undertake non-asylum immigration work under Exceptional Case Funding.
Our team includes senior caseworkers, solicitors, and barristers. We provide services at all stages of the legal process and have experience litigating at the House of Lords and Supreme Court. We invest in our staff with ongoing professional development, peer support, and opportunities for career progression. All caseworkers have access to EIN and HJT; additional logistic support such as laptops or mobile phones may be provided. We consider offering a Training Contract to Accredited Senior Casework candidates. Successful applicants will attend sessions at our offices in Morden, Tooting, or Southall.

Salary packages:
- Paralegals with no accreditation: £16,800
- Paralegals with trainee caseworker accreditation: £18,000
