We advise on complex, high-value cases globally and are ranked among the leading firms for client care.
We have an immediate opportunity for an immigration law solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE, practicing across the full range of immigration law, especially personal and family immigration, deportation, visit visas, Appendix FM applications, EU Settled Status, Naturalisation, and applications for children. Experience conducting written and oral advocacy in the Immigration Tribunal and instructing Counsel in the Court of Session is preferred.
This role involves:
- Meeting clients, providing advice, and preparing applications/appeals inside and outside the UK.
- Drafting grounds of appeal, skeleton arguments, witness statements, conducting oral advocacy, instructing Counsel in judicial reviews and appeals in the Court of Session. Experience with instructing Counsel and understanding Court of Session procedures is desirable but not essential.
- Collaborating with colleagues and advising on immigration law in family, criminal, and dispute resolution matters.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent written communication skills and teamwork abilities.
