Job Purpose: At Freemarket, we set ambitious goals and targets. In your role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, pursue, negotiate, and successfully onboard new clients who align with our profile and risk appetite. Your efforts will ultimately help us achieve these objectives.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Employ a strategic approach to targeting verticals and sub-verticals, maximising wins with current clients effectively.
  • Delivering on new business revenue targets is a key priority.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities by pinpointing prospects and assessing their market position through thorough research and analysis of prospect persona.
  • Take charge of managing client prospects through the onboarding process with our Client Success team, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Execute precise forecasting and reporting, managing the sales pipeline with confidence while presenting actionable execution plans.
  • Collaborate closely with VPs and the Product & Banking Team to prioritise Product Development and banking supplier needs effectively.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Risk and Compliance Team to ensure we meet all requirements for safely and efficiently onboarding target clients.
  • Build and leverage robust relationships both internally and externally at multiple levels to enhance our network and impact.

Role Profile: We are looking for an experienced BDD with in-depth knowledge of the online payments and banking markets as well as substantial experience in the PSP, Gaming/Gambling, or Crypto/CFD industries. The ideal candidate will be driven by success, a self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding targets.

With Experience From Some Or All The Following:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services sales is required, specifically within the PSP (payment processing, acquiring, eCommerce), Gaming/Gambling, or Crypto & CFD sectors, along with an existing network of contacts.
  • A strong grasp of solution selling and the ability to forge solid client relationships are essential.
  • Proven experience and familiarity with Payments, Banking, FX, and Treasury Management are necessary.
  • Previous experience in an early-stage, high-growth business is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A strategic mindset coupled with a strong execution capability is imperative.
