Freemantles School is seeking a temporary Receptionist to provide cover at our Ripley Satellite Site every Friday, from January 2026 until July 2026. If you’re looking for a friendly environment, enjoy working with people, and have one day a week available, we’d love to hear from you!
About Freemantles School
Freemantles School is a specialist school based in Mayford Green, Woking, providing education for autistic children and young people aged 4 to 19 years old. Our Ripley Satellite Site operates from the former Ripley C of E Infants School building.
This is a varied role that includes welcoming visitors, supporting staff and students, and carrying out a small number of practical duties such as lunch serving and light housekeeping.
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, welcoming individual with excellent communication skills
- Someone organised, reliable and able to stay calm under pressure
- Confidence in using IT applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- A team player with good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience in a receptionist or school office role, and familiarity with systems such as SIMS.net, would be beneficial but not essential. A good standard of English and Maths is required.

Role Details
- Hours: 8:30am – 3.30pm
- Pay: Surrey Grade PS3.3 - £3,682 per annum (£24,330 full time equivalent)
- Contract: Temporary until July 2026
- Start Date: As soon as possible
