Warehouse Facilities Technician – Electrical Engineer at FGH Listerhills Warehouse, Thornton Road, Bradford, BD8 8LG.
Permanent - Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer? We have a great opportunity for you to join us in a full time position at our Listerhills warehouse.
Role Accountabilities:
- Achieve best value for money consistent with agreed standards and act at all times in the best interests of the company.
- Assist in the implementation of projects funded from the capital and exceptional maintenance budgets.
- Follow our on-site PPM program which includes:
- Sprinkler system - maintenance and repair of sprinklers and associated equipment.
- Legionella testing in accordance with approved code of practice.
- Fire alarms testing.
- Ladders.
- Testing and repair of emergency lighting.
- Portable appliance testing.
Equipment: Heating and DHW services, balers, compactors, roller shutter doors, canteen equipment.
Essential:
- Recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering, preferably with Mechanical experience.
- City and Guilds Level 3 Inspection & Testing (Course 2391) or equivalent.
- City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering (Course 2380 18th Edition) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in installation, fault finding and repair of electrical equipment in an industrial/commercial environment.
- Recognised apprenticeship or in depth knowledge in mechanical engineering.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Work to all company procedures, site rules, risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Statutory compliance for all plant and equipment on the site achieved and maintained.
- Sprinkler plant and ventilation/air conditioning systems knowledge.
- Experienced in pneumatics and hydraulics and the maintenance and repair of baling/compacting machinery (Desirable).
- Undertake working across both of our sites as dictated by the needs of the business.
- Work such shift patterns and overtime as are necessary to support business needs.
- Work overtime as requested by line management to support operations or in accordance with business needs.
