We are a fast-growing street food and events business serving fresh, vibrant cuisine at some of the UK's most exciting festivals and large-scale events. As we prepare for the 2026 summer season and beyond, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in our continued growth. We are recruiting for this role on behalf of one of our valued concessionaire partners. You'll work closely with the senior management team to oversee operations from planning through to execution, ensuring smooth, professional and high-energy service on site.
Responsibilities
- Running day-to-day operations across festival and event food units
- Leading, motivating and supporting teams during busy service periods
- Managing rotas, staffing and scheduling across multiple events
- Overseeing stock control, ordering and cost management
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and compliance standards are met
- Handling opening/closing procedures, cash-ups and reporting
- Coordinating builds, setups and pack-downs at festivals
- Liaising with event organisers, suppliers and site teams
- Working closely with production and logistics teams to manage stock flow
- Reporting on performance and contributing to operational improvements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in festivals, street food, or large-scale event operations
- Background managing high-volume food units, kiosks or concessions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams under pressure
- Hands-on, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working weekends, festivals and outdoor events
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Willingness and ability to travel across the UK for events and festivals
- Food Hygiene Level 3 (or willingness to obtain Level 2 minimum)
