Description
As a Venue Assistant at London Stadium, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of world-class food and beverage operations across one of the UK’s most iconic sporting and entertainment venues.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, clients, contractors, and operational teams, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of all food and beverage activities across matchdays, concerts, and major events. You will help ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, compliance, and commercial performance while upholding the high standards and reputation of Freemans Event Partners.
This role requires a highly organised, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced event environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to tens of thousands of guests attending world-class events.

Requirements
Essential
  • Previous experience within hospitality, food and beverage, events, stadia, arenas, or large-scale venue operations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and compliance requirements within hospitality operations.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and event days.
  • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced stadium and event environment.
Desirable
  • Experience working within a major stadium, arena, sports venue, or large-scale events environment.
  • Knowledge of EPOS systems, stock management platforms, and event reporting systems.
  • Understanding of profit and loss reporting, stock control, and margin management.
  • Personal Licence Holder qualification.
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale sporting events, concerts, or live entertainment events.
  • Experience supervising casual event staff or hospitality teams.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of concession, premium hospitality, and public catering operations.
