Be part of the action at some of London’s most iconic venues and help deliver incredible food experiences to thousands of fans at major sporting and live entertainment events. Freemans Event Partners is looking for reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our London events team. You’ll be working in fast-paced, high-energy environments where no two shifts are ever the same.

Hours & Contract

This is a casual, event-based role, with shifts available around each venue’s event schedule. Once registered, you’ll have access to our scheduling app, where you can view and apply for shifts that suit your availability.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll work on one of our fantastic catering units, serving high-quality food to guests during busy event days. Units include:

  • Cornish Pasty
  • Loaded Greek Chicken & Fries
  • Burger & Fries
  • Fish & Chips
  • Gourmet Burger
  • BBQ & Brisket

You’ll be hands-on with food preparation and service, working closely with your team to deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service - even during peak rushes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food to a high standard in a busy environment
  • Work on designated catering units, following set menus and procedures
  • Operate catering equipment safely and correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
  • Restock units and support with stock control to minimise waste
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to keep the service running smoothly

About You

  • Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or fast-paced food service is preferred
  • Confident working under pressure in high-volume environments
  • Friendly, reliable, and a strong team player
  • Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is desirable (but not essential)
