The Head of Silverstone is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence and commercial performance of all Freemans activity delivered at Silverstone Circuit. This role acts as the senior Freemans representative and single point of accountability for the Silverstone relationship, ensuring exceptional delivery while actively growing the breadth, value and longevity of the Freemans partnership with Silverstone.

The role leads and develops the Freemans on-site leadership team, ensuring consistent standards, high performance and a collaborative, high-performing culture. You are accountable for ensuring that all food & beverage, concessions and operational delivery at Silverstone meet Freemans’ standards for quality, consistency, innovation, safety and guest experience.

The Head of Silverstone plays a key role in shaping long-term strategy for the account, driving sustainable growth, continuous improvement and innovation in close collaboration with the Director of Events and Freemans’ senior leadership team.

Requirements

  • Essential
    • Proven senior leadership experience within events, hospitality, venue management or large-scale operations
    • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth, operational efficiency and profitability
    • Experience managing complex, high-profile client relationships
    • Experience delivering large-scale, high-footfall or complex live events
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior client and executive-level engagement
    • Ability to lead, inspire and develop multi-site or regional teams
    • Strong understanding of operational planning, food & beverage delivery and event logistics
    • Good working knowledge of licensing, health & safety and compliance requirements within events
  • Desirable
    • Experience within motorsport, sporting venues, festivals or large-scale outdoor events
    • Understanding of commercial agreements, rights holder relationships and event contracting models
    • Knowledge of trends and innovation in food & beverage, event technology and guest experience
    • Experience delivering sustainability or environmental initiatives within live events
