About Freeman's Event Partners

Freeman's Event Partners deliver exceptional event operations and services at some of the UK's most prestigious venues and festivals. From food and beverage operations to staffing, logistics and access management — we make large-scale events run seamlessly. We're entering an exciting new phase as we streamline and modernise our accreditation and event services. This role sits at the heart of that transformation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Event Services & Accreditation Lead to own the accreditation, ticketing and internal accommodation processes for our workforce and concession partners across multiple venues and events. This is both a hands-on operational role and a systems development position. You will oversee the current accreditation process — which involves liaising with employees, our large casual workforce and concessionaires 1–3 weeks before each event — while also helping to design and implement a central accreditation database to simplify and future-proof our operations. Once the new system is established (target: 3 months), you will manage its maintenance and accuracy, working closely with internal teams and external event/venue partners. You'll also coordinate event ticketing allocations and arrange accommodation for staff working away from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accreditation Management
    • Oversee and deliver accreditation for all staff, casual workforce and concessionaires across multiple venues and events.
    • Liaise with venue and event organisers to confirm and meet their accreditation criteria.
    • Manage all required data collection (e.g. IDs, photos, licences, compliance documentation).
    • Lead the build and implementation of a new, centralised accreditation database — ensuring the system meets operational requirements and data protection standards.
    • Maintain the database once operational: ensure it remains accurate, up-to-date and complete.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (People and Culture, People Deployment, Operations, IT) to ensure data flows efficiently between systems.
    • Drive process improvements to make accreditation faster, more accurate and scalable.
  • Ticketing Management
    • Manage receipt, allocation and distribution of event tickets provided by venues and organisers.
    • Keep transparent records of who has received tickets, manage returns, and ensure proper reporting.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure fair and efficient ticket distribution in line with company policy.
  • Accommodation Coordination
    • Arrange and manage accommodation for internal staff during events.
    • Ensure bookings are cost-effective, convenient and in line with operational schedules.
    • Handle accommodation logistics, including check-ins/outs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Act as the key contact for accreditation, ticketing and accommodation queries.
    • Provide clear, professional and timely communication to a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Produce post-event reports identifying successes, bottlenecks and improvement areas.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Natural Challenger - and a bit of a systems geek - someone impatient and always wanting to do things better
  • Proven experience in event operations, accreditation, or workforce management.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, able to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to liaise confidently with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Confident with data and technology; experience using databases or CRM-style systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing event schedules and requirements.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • Experience with accreditation or access-control systems.
  • Familiarity with large-scale events or multi-venue operations.
  • Experience managing ticketing or staff accommodation logistics.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection.
