This isnât your average bar job â It\âs work at Christmas time made magical! Backyard Cinema is transforming London Bridge into the Home of Christmas Movies, complete with enchanted forests, cabaret shows, festive bars, and all our favourite holiday films â and we need a team of superstar bar staff to help make the magic happen between 26th November 2025 â 31st December 2025.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Serving mulled wine and handing out festive bundles at our bars.
- Bringing the sparkle with top-notch service â from speedy sales at the Forest Bar to table service in the Cabaret Room (where actors perform right in front of you!).
- Spreading Christmas cheer with every order.
- Keeping things running smoothly with your team of fellow elves (okay, bar staff).
- Helping guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in â youâre part of the first impression magic.
- Upselling festive bundles and drinks with confidence (because who doesnât want popcorn with their Christmas movie?).
- Working as part of a close-knit team to keep the bars stocked, tidy, and running smoothly all night long.
What Weâre Looking For
- 18+ (youâll be serving alcohol).
- Big smiles and confidence with customers.
- Experience in hospitality or events is a bonus â but personality is everything.
- Someone who thrives in a busy, buzzing, festive environment.
- Available to work across the season (and not afraid of a few Christmas jingles stuck in your head).
The Details
- Training: One full day\âs training before opening.
- Uniform: White shirt, black waistcoat, black trousers, black shoes (classic cinema âusherâ style).
- Team setup: Each shift will have 5 bar staff + 1 supervisor.
- Contract: Casual, full event run.
