3D Designers are responsible for the creation of concepts that challenge the standard event/environmental design. Able to articulate ideas in the most appropriate form through sketches/Vectorworks/C4D or images/visuals, excelling in translating a creative proposition into a three-dimensional environment. This position will support our EMEA Creative team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office one day a week (typically Wednesdays) at our London location.
Responsibilities:
- Takes client briefs and interprets client content and brand messaging.
- Design engaging environments working alongside other creatives, client directors and external contractors.
- Apply a good knowledge of new technologies to effectively create unforgettable experiences.
- Possess an awareness of cost and design to a budget.
- Create high-quality 3D visuals using industry standard software, ideally Cinema 4D in combination with the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Attend pitch presentations and sell in a design.
- Produce in depth technical drawings to help guide the stand production process.
- Liaison with manufacturing contractors to monitor quality and finish.
- Attend on site to ensure handover to the client before the show.
- Experience working in an agency or in-house.
- Experience working across complex and varied projects internationally.
- Experience taking projects from start to finish, from initial concept right through to final design.
- High cultural radar with a finger on the pulse across all areas of art, design, music, and culture.
- Solid commercial understanding.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience using Vectorworks would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience pulling together creative presentations - pitch experience would be ideal.
- Motivated to always push creative ideas as far as possible.
- Solid understanding of build and production and the technical aspects of the design process.
- Calm and organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in managing junior creatives and freelancers.
