Newton are looking for a freelance creative designer to join their team and deliver brilliant work.
Freelance Creative Designer will be part of Newton’s People and Change team and will enable Newton to deliver high quality and engaging communication which creates an emotional connection and drives behaviour change on our client programmes. You’ll produce and oversee delivery of high quality, inspiring content in digital, print and video for use in Newton’s improvement programmes with clients.
Responsibilities
- Creating and meeting the demand for creative work on client programmes including responsibility for programme branding, campaign concept design, graphic design, animation and video editing.
- Outputs could include videos, soundbite recordings, logos, infographics, digital flyers, banners and print.
- Maintaining relationships with Newton’s supplier base to support with requirements and manage their progress per engagement.
- Anticipating emerging needs across the business to help the flow of creative work.
- Project managing multimedia/creative workflows when suppliers or other in-house creatives are involved.
Role Requirements
- Experience of working in a similar capacity, and confidence working as Newton’s only internal specialist in this field.
- Excellent communicator with the confidence to speak to people at all levels to obtain crucial information.
- Experience of working with in-house teams and clients on transformation and change programmes.
- The ability to tell engaging stories through creative work; taking employees on a journey through change.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- The ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and support our consultants to deliver excellent work for our clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of a business.
- Strong organisational ability with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrable graphic / visual design skills with a strong portfolio in traditional and digital design.
- Excellent video editing and production experience including graphics and animation.
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
There’ll be a combination of remote working and working from client sites or shared meeting spaces across the UK.
