I am looking for a video editor who understands YouTube documentary storytelling and retention-driven pacing. This is NOT a commercial or advertising project.

Style reference: Please study the channel carefully before applying.

What I’m looking for:

  • Strong YouTube pacing and emotional rhythm
  • Storytelling driven by editing and sound design
  • Minimal but intentional animation
  • Clean flat characters and limited colour palette
  • Music and sound layered for tension and transitions
  • Text integrated naturally into scenes

This project is retention-focused. Emotional build-up and pacing are more important than flashy animation.

Requirements:

  • You MUST provide at least one YouTube-style documentary example similar to the reference
  • Commercial / promotional portfolios will not be considered
  • Experience with 8–12 minute YouTube videos preferred

Budget: £200–250 per 8–12 minute video

Long-term collaboration if the first project works well.
