I am looking for a reliable WordPress developer for ongoing, hourly support across multiple WordPress websites. This role is focused on routine maintenance and light troubleshooting, not full site builds. Work is ongoing but minimal, with hours varying month to month.

Current environment:

  • 5 WordPress sites (with potential for more over time)
  • Elementor page builder
  • Key plugins include Gravity Forms and AWSM Team
  • cPanel-based hosting

Primary responsibilities:

  • WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates
  • Troubleshooting small issues (plugin conflicts, layout issues, errors, forms not sending, etc.)
  • Basic PHP compatibility awareness
  • Occasional work in cPanel (file manager, error logs, phpMyAdmin as needed)
  • General site health checks and minor fixes

Hours and structure:

  • Hourly contract
  • Typically 2–5 hours per month total across all sites
  • Some months may be very light
  • Time tracked per task, not per website
  • Larger builds or redesigns will be scoped and paid separately

Availability expectations:

  • Async support is fine for most work
  • Same-day response preferred for urgent issues when possible
  • Please share your general availability and how often you typically check client sites

This role is not:

  • Full site builds or redesigns
  • Custom theme development
  • WooCommerce work (at this time)
  • SEO or marketing services
  • 24/7 monitoring

Please include your hourly rate, relevant experience, and typical response time. Contract duration of less than 1 month, with 30 hours per week.

Mandatory skills: WordPress, PHP, Elementor, Gravity Forms, Website Maintenance, cPanel
