Scope of Work:
- Review Architectural Plans
- Carefully follow floor plans, elevations, and window schedules.
- Identify all window and balcony door units.
Technical Requirements:
- Determine where tempered glass is required per code (bathrooms, near doors, low sill heights, stairways, etc.).
- Identify operable panels and specify handing (left/right from exterior view unless otherwise noted).
- Confirm rough openings vs. unit sizes where applicable.
Measurement & Conversion:
- Extract all dimensions from blueprints (inches/feet).
- Convert dimensions accurately into millimeters (mm).
Plan Markups:
- Color-code and mark up plans showing:
- Window type
- Size
- Handing (L/R)
- Tempered locations
Excel Spreadsheet Deliverable:
- Provide organized spreadsheet including:
- Mark number / tag
- Quantity
- Width (mm)
- Height (mm)
- Type (fixed, casement, tilt-turn, sliding, balcony door, etc.)
- Tempered (Yes/No + location)
- Handing (Left/Right)
- Notes (special requirements)
