The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We're seeking an experienced designer/engineer to optimize and refine an existing component prototype for injection molding. The existing design has been prototyped via additive manufacturing but requires modifications to reduce wall thickness with considerations for wall strength and reducing undercuts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing injection molded components and adapting existing functional parts to be compatible with injection molding. We would prefer to work with a partner who can provide informed feedback on potential weaknesses in the existing design with respect to strength, durability, manufacturability and quality control.

The component will be molded in Food Grade Polycarbonate. Seeking candidates who can begin the project work immediately. Contract duration of 1 to 3 months, with 30 hours per week.
