We are launching a new YouTube channel in the astronomy and space documentary niche, focused on black holes, deadly planets, and hostile moons. We are looking for a video editor who can produce high-quality long-form YouTube videos. The style we are targeting is cinematic, immersive, serious, and documentary-like, not fast-paced or social-media oriented.

Your work should match the visual quality, pacing, narration support, and cinematic atmosphere of these references. You will be assembling the footage, syncing visuals to the narration provided, adding background music, subtle sound effects, and crafting smooth transitions that maintain viewer engagement throughout the 15–20 minutes of video.

We provide scripts and clear creative direction for every video. You should be comfortable working with stock footage, motion graphics, and narrative pacing that feels like a documentary piece. You will need to ensure that the final edits feel professional and polished, suitable for YouTube audiences interested in science and space topics.

The publishing rhythm will be three videos per week. This is intended to be a long-term collaboration if the quality and communication are strong.

Please apply only if you have experience editing long-form YouTube content and can demonstrate similar pacing and quality in your previous work. Experience with documentary, cinematic, or science-related content is a strong plus. When applying, please include examples of long-form YouTube videos you have edited that reflect the style described above.

Contract duration of less than 1 month.
