Project Synopsis - UX/UI Refinement Opportunity (Ad-hoc)

I have developed a structured procedural guidance platform that helps individuals in England & Wales to respond to a particular fine. This is not a legal advice or representation service. It is a subscription stage-based procedural support system that guides users through the process from initial appeal through to court stage where applicable.

The system itself is largely complete (approximately 85-90% developed). All substantive content, structural logic, templates, process flows, escalation pathways, and tier frameworks are already built. Court-stage materials and compliance positioning are aligned and also in place.

The platform is procedurally robust. However, it currently reads like an internal operating manual rather than a consumer-facing experience.

What I now require is UX refinement - specifically:

  • Clarity compression
  • Information architecture optimisation
  • Cognitive load reduction
  • Structured, stage-based presentation
  • Light-touch UI hierarchy improvements (not redesign)

The goal is to transform an already-built system into a front-end experience that is:

  • Clear within 60 seconds
  • Non-intimidating for stressed users
  • Structured and linear
  • Conversion-sensitive
  • Compliance-safe

Please also make allowance for structured A/B testing of two front-end variants so we can compare clarity, user confidence, and conversion performance before finalising the primary layout. This is not a rebuild, rebrand, SEO rewrite, or content expansion exercise. It is architectural refinement and clarity optimisation of an existing concept.

If there is mutual alignment, I will provide the full detailed brief outlining structural layers, compliance boundaries, stage modules, and success criteria. You would be expected to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement, if you are the one.

Please let me know if this aligns with your expertise and interest. Contract duration of 1 to 3 months, with 30 hours per week.

Mandatory skills: User Experience Design, Usability Testing
