We are looking for a native Finnish translator who is available immediately to help us validate a set of assessment questions used in a professional recruitment context. This needs to be completed by tomorrow. Please only apply if you are available today and can deliver within 24 hours.
About the project:
We develop data-driven assessment tools that help organizations make better hiring decisions. Our assessment content has been translated into Finnish, and we now need a native expert to validate and refine the wording.
Your task:
- Review existing Finnish assessment questions
- Check for:
- Linguistic accuracy
- Natural, native-level phrasing
- Consistency in tone and terminology
- Cultural appropriateness
- Ensure the meaning fully aligns with the original English and/or Dutch source
- Suggest improvements where needed
We will provide:
- The original English and/or Dutch text
- The current Finnish translations that require validation
Scope:
- Short assessment statements and multiple-choice items
- Professional HR / business context
- Final number of questions will be shared upon application
Profile we're looking for:
- Native Finnish speaker
- Excellent command of English (Dutch is a plus, not required)
- Experience in translation/proofreading
- Experience with surveys, assessments, HR, or psychology is a strong plus
- Detail-oriented and precise
- Available immediately
Deliverable:
- Final validated Finnish version
- Edits clearly marked (track changes or comments where adjustments are made)
