We are seeking a U.S.-licensed mental health clinician with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) expertise, ideally with adolescent experience, to professionally review and endorse a completed teen mental health workbook. The workbook teaches evidence-based emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills through a DBT-informed framework, using teen-relatable language while maintaining clinical responsibility and integrity. We are looking to include a credible clinician endorsement to reinforce the book's real-world therapeutic grounding. This is a defined, one-time engagement focused on review and endorsement only.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Be U.S.-licensed as one of the following (or equivalent):
  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC / LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Other state-regulated mental health clinician
  • Have formal DBT training and/or significant DBT clinical experience
  • Have direct experience working with teens or young adults (approx. ages 12–21)
  • Be willing to verify licensure and DBT background (license number, public registry, CV, or certification)
  • Be comfortable signing a formal endorsement agreement
  • Be willing to provide a 1–3 sentence professional endorsement after review
  • Grant permission for name, title, and credentials to appear in:
    • The book's interior endorsement page
    • Amazon listing and related marketing materials
  • (Optional but welcome: professional photo or short video testimonial)
  • What This Is (and Is Not)

    • This is a professional review and endorsement
    • This is not therapy, supervision, authorship, or ongoing involvement
    • This does not replace or imply clinical treatment

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Actively uses DBT in clinical practice
    • Understands emotional dysregulation, trauma, self-harm, or crisis care
    • Supports evidence-based psychoeducation for teens
    • Comfortable lending professional credibility to a high-quality workbook

Experience reviewing mental health materials, workbooks, or psychoeducational tools is a plus.

    Compensation & Timeline

    • One-time paid fee (competitive; based on credentials and scope)
    • Quick turnaround preferred (5–7 days)
    • Optional add-ons:
    • Short video testimonial
    • Extended written commentary

    How to Apply

    • Your license type, state, and how it can be verified
    • Brief summary of your DBT training and clinical use
    • Your experience working with teens
    • Link to Psychology Today, LinkedIn, or professional website (if available)
    • Confirmation you are willing to:
    • Review the full manuscript
    • Provide a short endorsement
    • Sign a formal endorsement agreement

    Please Do Not Apply If

    • You are not U.S.-licensed
    • You cannot verify DBT experience
    • You are uncomfortable with public use of your credentials
    • You are seeking authorship or editorial control

Contract duration of less than 1 month.

Mandatory skills: English, DBT, Psychologist, Skills & Endorsements
