At a Glance
- Tasks: Design and prototype a cutting-edge sound sensor unit with MEMS microphones.
- Company: Join a forward-thinking tech company focused on innovative audio solutions.
- Benefits: Gain hands-on experience, flexible hours, and the chance to work on exciting projects.
- Why this job: Make an impact by developing technology that enhances audio signal processing.
- Qualifications: Experience in PCB design, Python, C++, and electronics is essential.
- Other info: Short-term contract with potential for future opportunities in a dynamic environment.
The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 Β£ per hour.
Required: MEMS microphone knowledge. The project would be a microphone array consisting of 3 MEMS microphones with analog output and good SNR and sensitivity (not top, so SNR better than 65 and sensitivity better than -40 would be ok). The project also requires a standard USB sound card for data digitizing and power supply. The sole purpose of this sound sensor unit is to catch and magnify very weak monotonous signals in the range 500 to 3500 Hz and forward it to the USB port of an RPI.
Contract duration of less than 1 month with 30 hours per week.
