We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in the dbt Fusion engine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and optimize workflows. If you have experience with data modeling and analytics, we would love to hear from you.
dbt Fusion Engine is the next-generation engine built in Rust, that powers development across the dbt platform (formerly dbt Cloud), and local development in VS Code and Cursor, and the CLI. If you have experience let us know, if you don't but are willing to learn it and have extensive experience in other software systems or languages related to data transformation let us know in the questions.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months with 40 hours per week.
