I'm looking for a SketchUp expert who can help me get started quickly and ideally begin within the next few days. My immediate goal is to create a basic SketchUp model of a music studio that is currently being remodeled so I can visualize interior layout decisions and produce simple blueprints that I can mark up and edit myself.
I am a beginner in SketchUp and would like live Zoom sessions where I share my screen and you guide me step-by-step as we build the initial model together. However, I'm also open to a hybrid approach if it makes more sense for efficiency—where you create the base model from my measurements and then tutor me on how to navigate, edit, and use SketchUp confidently moving forward.
Longer term, I expect ongoing needs. Sometimes I may want tutoring and coaching so I can build and modify models myself, and other times I may want to outsource full floor plans, layouts, or simple 3D visualizations from measurements I provide.
The ideal freelancer is comfortable with:
- Live Zoom/screen-share tutoring
- Teaching a beginner in a clear, step-by-step way
- Helping create clean, simple floor plans and basic 3D layouts
- Potential ongoing hourly work as future projects come up
I'm looking to start soon on an hourly basis and build an ongoing working relationship if it's a good fit. Contract duration of less than 1 month, with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Autodesk AutoCAD, 3D Design, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Modeling, SketchUp, Autodesk Revit, 3D Animation, Lumion, Autodesk 3ds Max, Adobe InDesign, Commercial Design, Microsoft Excel, Twinmotion, Floor Plan, Home Design.
